EICR in Essex
Essex covers busy rental markets in Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend-on-Sea and Basildon, coastal holiday lets around Clacton and Maldon, and commercial and logistics sites along the A12, A127 and around Thurrock.
Students in Colchester and Chelmsford, commuter flats near the Elizabeth line and Liverpool Street routes, and older seaside housing stock are all common across Essex. Holiday lets and Airbnbs are not always covered by the rented-sector regulations, but insurers and booking platforms increasingly expect an EICR.
Whether you need a landlord EICR to meet the five-year rule, an inspection before buying or selling, or a planned fixed wire test for a workplace, our NICEIC-enrolled engineers inspect and test to BS 7671, code every observation and give you a plain-English summary with a priced remedial list.
