EICR in London
London has the largest private rented sector in England, much of it in Victorian and Edwardian conversions, purpose-built blocks and HMOs where older wiring, shared supplies and landlord-supplied equipment are common EICR findings.
Many London boroughs run additional or selective licensing schemes that add conditions on top of the national five-year rule, so check your borough’s licence before choosing an inspection date. Tell us about parking, permits and access when booking so the visit can be planned around Congestion Charge and controlled-parking zones.
Whether you need a landlord EICR to meet the five-year rule, an inspection before buying or selling, or a planned fixed wire test for a workplace, our NICEIC-enrolled engineers inspect and test to BS 7671, code every observation and give you a plain-English summary with a priced remedial list. See what’s included in an EICR.
